Specialist international distribution and services group Bunzl said it made two further acquisitions, taking the number of deals for the year to 13.
The company said it had bought personalised workwear and promotional clothing firm Workwear Express, based in Durham and Hydropac, a distributor of insulated packaging solutions based in Buckinghamshire.

No financial details were disclosed.

Workwear Express has a strong e-commerce focus, Bunzl said, adding that it generated £29m in revenue in the year to March.

Hydropac, which focuses on the online food delivery market, is complementary to Bunzl’s Coolpack business in the Netherlands, and made revenue of £7m in 2020.
