FTSE 100 movers: Travel stocks gain; Croda falls

London’s FTSE 100 was up 0.2% at 7,308.11 in afternoon trade on Wednesday.
Travel-related stocks were on the rise again, with British Airways and Iberia parent IAG, engine maker Rolls-Royce, Premier Inn owner Whitbread and InterContinental Hotels all higher.

Croda was weaker after agreeing to sell the majority of its technology and industrial chemicals business to Cargill for €915m.

Miners were also on the back foot, with Rio Tinto and BHP both down, while precious metals miner Fresnillo was the worst performer on the index.
