Gary Collins has joined Door as Head of Clients – Global Ex North America. Gary will oversee client activity, from business development to ongoing service, for all of Door’s clients outside of North America.

Gary was previously Head of Distribution at AssetCo, where he helped the business grow from £35m to £13bn in AuM through a series of acquisitions and organic growth.

Prior to his time at AssetCo, Gary spent a large proportion of his career at Columbia Threadneedle Investments in London, where he held several senior positions, including the Head of Distribution for EMEA and Latin America.

Gary Collins says ‘Door is a business I have followed for some time and have supported at my previous firms. It’s a very exciting time to join Rob, following the recent partnership with FE fundinfo. Door is solving a global industry problem that all asset and wealth managers are familiar with. Door is gaining huge traction and is also leading the charge to help the industry meet Consumer Duty requirements.”

Rob Sanders, Door CEO said: ‘Gary is an superb addition to the Door team. His wealth of experience and extensive industry network will help Door continue to scale and expand across all the markets where our customers operate.”

Neil Hegarty, Door’s previous Head of Clients, is taking a short break for personal reasons, and will return to Door in a different role.
