HgCapital Trust said it would invest around £31.8m in institutional governance, risk, and compliance services business Waystone.
Founded in 2000 and based in Dublin, Waystone serves clients with assets under management totalling more than $1trln.

Hg will join private equity firm Montagu and the management team as key shareholders, the company said on Monday.

“This will support our growth as an institutional, global service provider, paving the way for further expansion in 2022,’ said Derek Delaney, Waystone chief executive.
