Marex Spectron has confirmed its intention to float on the London Stock Exchange.
The commodities broker said it intended to apply for its shares to have a premium listing on London’s main market. The initial public offering will comprise existing shares.
After admission the company will have a free float of at least 25% of its share capital and expects to be eligible for inclusion in the FTSE UK indices. Shares representing a further 15% of the offer will be made available to investors as an over-allotment option.
The details confirmed plans set out on 14 May when the company said it was considering an IPO.
