OptiBiotix launches range into large Indian chemist chain

OptiBiotix Health announced on Tuesday that its subsidiary OptiBiotix Ltd launched its ‘GoFigure’ range with Apollo Hospitals & Pharmacies on 18 September.
The AIM-traded firm described Apollo Pharmacies as “the largest and most trusted” branded pharmacy network with 5,000 outlets across India.

It said GoFigure is its direct-to-consumer range of weight management products, combining various meal replacement, “healthy snacking” and powdered beverage products containing its weight management ingredient ‘SlimBiome’.

“We are very pleased that our GoFigure products are now available to the consumer in India through Apollo Pharmacies, a leading pharmacy chain in India,” said OptiBiotix Ltd chief executive officer René Kamminga.

“Our GoFigure range of weight management products have been specifically formulated to support consumers on a weight loss journey by reducing hunger and food cravings as well as modifying the gut microbiome in the direction of a lean person.

“This launch is another important step in building sales and brand presence for OptiBiotix’s solutions with major partners around the world.”

At 1127 BST, shares in OptiBiotix Health were down 0.99% at 17.08p.
