Budget airline Ryanair posted a jump in October traffic on Wednesday, along with an uptick in the load factor.
Passenger numbers rose 38% from October 2021 to 15.7m. Meanwhile, the load factor – which gauges how full the planes are – increased to 94% from 84%.

On a rolling 12-month basis, traffic grew 178% to 157.4m and the load factor was up 12% at 91%.

The airline said it operated more than 88,560 flights in October, with “strong” school mid-term bookings.
