The market spotlight on Wednesday will fall on a barrage of economic data out of the US, including a reading on a key inflation indicator and the minutes of the Federal Reserve´s 2-3 November rate meeting.
Readings on weekly jobless claims, durable goods orders and personal income and spending are all due out at 1330 GMT.
Included among the latter are the personal consumption expenditures price indices for October, which are closely watched by the Fed itself.
Those reports will be followed by others, including on US consumer confidence, at 1500 GMT and the release of the Fed minutes at 1900 GMT.
Across the Channel meanwhile, the IFO institute´s business confidence index for Germany will be in focus.
No major economic releases are scheduled in the UK.
