Charles Stanley has today announced the appointment of Charlotte Aspinall as a Senior Investment Manager based at the Tunbridge Wells office. Charlotte is a Chartered Wealth Manager with over twenty years of discretionary investment management experience.
Charlotte joins Charles Stanley from Mattioli Woods, where she was a Senior Investment Manager, Chair of the Equity Selection Committee, and a member of the Investment Policy Committee. Prior to this Charlotte spent 16 years with Charles Stanley, where she originally trained as an Investment Manager.
In her new role, Charlotte will be responsible for managing bespoke investment solutions for high-net-worth clients. She will work closely with the firm’s investment team to ensure that clients receive the highest level of service and advice.
Charlotte will report directly to Gerard Sweeting, Director of Private Clients, Tunbridge Wells, and joins a 22 strong team of professional investment managers and assistants in the Tunbridge Wells branch. The team draws on the expertise of the wider research team to develop bespoke investment strategies for clients that meet their goals, as well as working alongside our financial planners to provide clients with a holistic wealth management service.
Charlotte’s appointment follows the earlier appointments of Tom Planterose and Kathie Langfield, both as Senior Investment Managers in Tunbridge Wells.
Commenting on Charlotte’s appointment, David Pederson, Managing Director of Investment Management Services at Charles Stanley, said: “This appointment underscores our commitment to further growth in Kent, a region of strategic importance for our business.
“We are extremely pleased to welcome Charlotte back. As home-grown talent Charlotte has a wealth of experience to offer both new and existing clients. Her extensive experience and expertise will be a valuable addition to our investment management team, and we are confident that she will help us continue to provide the exceptional service that our clients have come to expect.”
