British Land said it had pre-let nearly 30% of office space at its 1 Broadgate development to real estate services firm JLL on a 15-year term.
JLL plans to make the building its new UK flagship office and will move in after the development completes in 2025.
Enabling works were already underway with demolition due to start in May, British land said on Thursday.
