Sky broadband drops out in parts of Scotland

Sky customers across Scotland saw their internet connection drop out around about 1300 BST on Thursday.
Internet services was lost in Dundee, Fife, Edinburgh and Aberdeen and while the cause of the outage was unclear, it now appears most customers have had their issues resolved.

“The majority of Sky customers impacted by the issues with Broadband and Talk in East and Central Scotland should now have their service restored,” a Sky spokesman said. “We’re sorry for the inconvenience this has caused.”

The outage comes just two weeks after Sky broadband dropped out in parts of Wales and the south east of England for around 24 hours.
