Whitbread said it had appointed Hemant Patel as chief financial officer effective from March 21.
He will replace Nicholas Cadbury who will step down from the role and board on the same date, the company said on Thursday.
Patel joined Whitbread in 2018, and has been finance director of the UK Premier Inn and Restaurants business. Prior to joining Whitbread, he was finance director of Greene King and held a number of senior finance and commercial roles at Asda and Mars.
