AllianceBernstein have announced the launch of two new equity ETFs in Europe: theย AB Global Research Advanced UCITS ETFย and the AB Global Disruptors UCITS ETF. The launches further build out ABโs European Active ETF platform following its initial debut last month.
โEquities are an area where active management remains highly relevant, especially in an environment shaped by structural change and uneven growth. With Global Research Advanced and Global Disruptors, weโre offering investors two distinct ways to access global equitiesโone focused on consistent, riskโaware alpha and the other on capturing longโterm disruptive trends,โ said Julie Gunts, Head of ETF Strategy and Partnerships, AllianceBernstein. โThe launch of these two equity ETFs represents the next phase in the development of ABโs European Active ETF platform, with further product expansion planned over time.โ
Both funds are actively managed UCITS ETFs, designed to complement client portfolios by providing differentiated access to global equity opportunities through ABโs active investment approach. The ETFs are listed today on Bรถrse Xetra, with additional listings on the London Stock Exchange, Borsa Italiana and SIX Swiss Exchange scheduled to take place throughout June.
Details on the funds include:
- Global Research Advanced UCITS ETF:ย The Fund uses a combination of fundamental research and quantitative research, with proprietary optimisation tools to build a diversified portfolio of equity securities that seeks to offer attractive and consistent returns compared to the general equities market, while managing active risk.
- Global Disruptors UCITS ETF:ย The Fund uses a combination of top-down and bottom-up investment process to select equity securities that offer superior long-term growth characteristics. It seeks to invest in โdisruptiveโ innovation leaders, which are companies at the forefront of global innovation in their respective industries.ย
โWeโre seeing growing demand from clients for actively managed equity strategies in an ETF wrapperโparticularly those that combine global opportunity sets with genuinely differentiated, researchโdriven insights. These products extend the range of ways clients can access AllianceBernsteinโs active investment capabilities, while complementing our broader ETF and fund offering in Europe,โ said Honor Solomon, CEO of EMEA, AllianceBernstein. โTogether with our fixed income ETFs, these launches demonstrate our commitment to delivering innovative, purposeful active solutions in the formats our clients want.โ
AB currently manages more than $19 billion across 32 ETFs globally, spanning the US, Asia and Australia. For more information visit https://www.alliancebernstein.com/gb/en-gb/financial-intermediary/capabilities/active-etfs.html
