Apax Global quarterly NAV up on portfolio earnings

Apax Global reported a rise in total adjusted net asset value and earnings per share in the latest quarter as portfolio earnings grew.

The company said NAV came in at €1.5bn (£1.2bn) with adjusted NAV per share growing to €3.02 (£2.59) from €2.81 (£2.41) in the three months to September 30.

Alpha said the performance in private equity was driven primarily by earnings growth in the portfolio and an increase in multiples, mainly as a result of ThoughtWorks IPO in the quarter.
