UK telecommunications company Arqiva is reportedly preparing to sell its remaining operations, which could be valued at around ยฃ2.5bn.
Bloomberg cited people familiar with the matter as saying that the group is working with an adviser to solicit bids. The company’s portfolio currently consists mostly of broadcasting towers, as well as a smart meter business, after it agreed to sell UK telecom masts to Cellnex in 2019.
It was understood that indicative offers are expected next month and a sale could draw both private equity and strategic suitors.
