FTSE 250 movers: Travel shares retreat; Wood Group gains

London’s FTSE 250 was down 1% at 21,756.94 in afternoon trade on Friday.
Future was under the cosh again, having fallen on Thursday after the media group backed its full-year expectations and said trading in the four months to the end of January had been in line with expectations.

Travel-related stocks were on the back foot, with budget airline Wizz Air and cruise operator Carnival both trading lower.

On the upside, Wood Group, Energean and Harbour Energy were among the top gainers on the index as oil prices gained, with Brent crude hitting $92 a barrel.
