Glencore appoints Gary Nagle as CEO from July 1

Glencore said Gary Nagle would be appointed as chief executive on July 1 to succeed Ivan Glasenberg, who is set to retire on June 30.

Glasenberg would seek re-election to the board at this year’s annual general meeting on 29 April, for a term expiring on 30 June 2021, the company added in a shirt statement on Tuesday.
