Gravis Capital Management Strengthens Senior Team

Gravis, a leading infrastructure and real estate boutique investment manager, is pleased to announce two senior promotions and the appointment of a senior individual to the distribution team. 

Firstly, the appointment of Cameron Gardner as the firm’s first Director, Head of Distribution, who will be reporting to the CEO. Cameron joined Gravis in 2019 and most recently held the role of Associate Director, Head of London Sales. In her new role Cameron will oversee Gravis’ distribution activities across all funds, leading a newly expanded, and growing team. 

Gravis’ distribution team has now grown to 8 professionals, covering all the Gravis’ funds. 

Commenting on her appointment, Cameron said: “I am thrilled to take on this role and to be able to build upon Gravis’ fantastic reputation, continuing to provide best-in-class service to our existing investors, and to set the distribution team up to support our next phase of growth.”

In addition, Gravis is pleased to announce that William MacLeod will be appointed Managing Director – Commercial. In this role William will work alongside the CEO, the investment management teams, the distribution team and other group companies to enhance and explore commercial opportunities. This builds on the impressive growth William has led in both the closed and open-ended business for over ten years. 

On the new role, William commented: “In my new position I am looking forward to identifying and progressing new projects for the business to power our next phase of growth. The investment and regulatory environment are increasingly challenging, however, Gravis is well placed to navigate these challenges and deliver innovative solutions, always ultimately driven by attractive investment opportunities for our investors.”

Lastly, Jason Anderson has joined Gravis to take on the role of Head of London Sales. Jason has vast experience covering intermediaries and wealth managers across London and the South of England. Jason joins Gravis from Columbia Threadneedle where he headed up the Southern Sales Team. Previously Jason has held roles at Fidelity, Threadneedle and Thames River Capital.  

Commenting on his appointment, Jason said: “I am very pleased to be joining Gravis and to lead their London sales efforts. It’s a very exciting time to join the business, and I’m looking forward to contributing to the continued growth at Gravis.”
