Moonpig shares slump after placing

Online greeting cards retailer Moonpig slumped on Thursday after shareholders placed 30m shares, or a stake of around 8.8%, in the company.
According to Bloomberg, the shares were placed by holders Exponent Private Equity LLP, LCP VIII Holdings LP, Strategic Partners VII Investments, Aberdeen Standard Investments, LGT Capital Partners, GoldPoint Partners, and K Athena Investments No 40.

The shares were placed at 328p each.

At 0910 BST, they were trading down 4.7% at 332.40p.
