Rio Tinto chief legal officer leaving for UBS role

Rio Tinto announced on Tuesday that its chief officer of legal and external affairs Barbara Levi has accepted the position of group general counsel at UBS.
The FTSE 100 company said that as a result, Levi would leave Rio Tinto by the end of October.

A “thorough” search had been launched to identify a suitable successor, the board confirmed.

“Barbara has made a significant contribution during her time with Rio Tinto and we will be saddened to see her leave,” said chief executive officer Jakob Stausholm.

“We offer her our very best wishes for the future.”
