Rockwood Asset Management (a trading name of Harwood Private Capital LLP) announces that the renowned investor Richard Pease is joining Rockwood Strategic’s Investment Advisory Group (IAG). The IAG has over 200 years of combined fund management and investing experience and acts as a valuable source of advice, insight and enhanced network to Rockwood Strategic’s Investment Team, led by Richard Staveley, helping to generate and evaluate investment ideas.
Richard Pease brings over 40 years of Fund Management experience to the IAG, having founded the European equities team and launched and managed the top performing flagship funds for both Jupiter Asset Management in the 1990s and New Star Asset Management in the 2000s, in addition to a European Hedge Fund. In 2009, he joined Henderson Asset Management and launched the European Special Situations Fund. Richard founded Crux Asset Management in 2015, growing the Crux European Special Situations Fund to over £2.5 billion until the sale of the company to Lansdowne Partners in 2023.
