Shoe Zone lifts profits guidance again

Shoe Zone lifted annual guidance for the second time after reporting trading has been better than expected since it issued its most recent update in June.
The footwear retailer said it now expects its full year adjusted pre-tax profit to come in at not less than ยฃ9.5m, up from the ยฃ8.5m set out last month.

Demand for summer products have been higher than previously anticipated, particularly in the last two weeks. It had also benefited from margin improvements due to its efforts to manage costs and its supply chain.
