Synthomer said on Wednesday that it is not in talks about a possible offer for the company.
The firm’s one line press release came after Bloomberg reported that private equity group CVC Capital Partners has been exploring a bid for the chemical producer.
According to Bloomberg, CVC Capital made an initial approach to Synthomer – which makes latex used in medical gloves – to gauge its interest in a deal. It was understood that the two parties aren’t currently holding any negotiations.
