Vanquis Bank CFO steps down ‘for personal reasons’

(Sharecast News) – Vanquis Banking Group on Monday said chief financial officer Neeraj Kapur was stepping down with immediate effect “for personal reasons”.
Gareth Cronin, currently the group’s chief risk officer, has been appointed interim CFO while the search for a permanent CFO takes place, the bank added.

“Neeraj has played a key role in our transformation to a specialist banking group focused on mid-cost and near-prime customers and I would like to thank him on behalf of the board, and the group. We wish him all the very best for the future,” aid chief executive Ian McLaughlin.
