Vistry chairman Ian Tyler to step down following AGM

Housebuilder Vistry said on Monday that chairman Ian Tyler will step down from the role at the group’s annual general meeting in May 2022.
Vistry revealed that Tyler will be replaced by Ralph Findlay, who has served as a non-executive director of the company since April 2015.

Findlay previously served as chief executive officer of Marston’s between 2001 and October 2021 and will also join the board of drinks company C&C Group in March 2022 to take up the role of chairman in July 2022.

Chief executive Greg Fitzgerald said: “I would like to add my personal thanks to Ian for his significant support and contribution in turning around Bovis Homes and through the successful acquisition and integration of Linden Homes and Partnerships to create the Vistry Group.

“I very much look forward to continuing to work with Ralph in his new role as chairman of the board. He will provide important continuity for Vistry as we pursue the group’s growth strategy and continue the great progress towards our medium-term targets in both Housebuilding and Partnerships, with a firm focus on maximising the strengths and opportunities from our unique combination .”

As of 0850 GMT, Vistry shares were up 0.22% at 1,151.0p.
