(Sharecast News) – All eyes on Wednesday will be on the U.S. central bank as its top officials meet to decide on policy.
No change in interest rates is anticipated, but some economists are eager to see whether the Summary of Economic Projections published alongside the policy statement includes more interest rate cuts for 2024 than after the September policy meeting.
Ahead of the announcement, at 0700 GMT the Office for National Statistics will publish its estimate for UK gross domestic product growth in October.
It will be followed at 1330 GMT by a reading for U.S. producer prices covering the month of November.
