Wizz Air issues €500m bond to repay BoE Covid loan

Budget airline Wizz Air said it had issued a new €500m bond to repay Covid-19 financing from the Bank of England.
The 1% notes are due in 2026 and the offering was “multiple times oversubscribed”. Wizz is repaying £300m of the loan in February and will use the rest for general purposes.
