Wizz Air June passenger numbers soar by 22.5%

(Sharecast News) – Hungary-based budget airline Wizz Air reported a 22.5% rise in passengers last month.
The carrier on Tuesday said it carried 5,314,584 passengers at a load factor of 92.2%, up 6.1 percentage points.

Wizz Air announced the addition of 10 new routes to its Albanian network with new flights from the capital Tirana to Birmingham, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Bucharest, Sofia, Prague, and Krakow set to start in the upcoming winter season. The network expansion amounts to nearly 100 extra weekly flights scheduled for this winter.
